About David Isaacson
Principal and Shareholder, First Financial Resources—Massachusetts
Personal integrity. Professional expertise.
It's easy for David Isaacson to pinpoint the defining events of his life. His two tours in Vietnam taught him
leadership in an environment with no margin for error. And waging another battle—his successful fight against cancer—gave him the
perspective to focus on the important things in life.
To David, what's most important is integrity— personal and professional.
His values and his ethics
guide his business relationships. He puts service above self-interest, and it's reflected in everything he does, including his
client-centered practice.
David is a distinguished professional with more than 30 years' experience in the insurance industry, with a continuing focus
on life and health insurance underwriting and pricing. His MBA from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania was the beginning
of his insurance career. Now, as a
licensed insurance adviser
(LIA) and client advocate, he specializes in working with accountants, lawyers, and investment advisers on the complexities of business insurance and
issues related to high-net-worth individuals and others going through life transitions. Increasingly, David's clients are business owners or
professionals who are seeking ways to better understand and manage their financial affairs as they enter new stages of their lives.

About First Financial Resources
The purchase of a major insurance policy is a pivotal moment for most clients. They want their needs and their situation to be fully understood, and they want to be presented with quality choices. They want a personal shopper. They need a professional who has the experience and resources to access and compare multiple products. That’s where First Financial Resources fits in.
Formed in 1987, First Financial Resources (FFR) now has nearly 100 offices across the country. All Principals hold equal ownership in this entity, which is the only truly independent financial services firm of its type in the country.
We generate $60 million to $100 million of new annual premium each year and work with dozens of insurance carriers on very favorable terms. For example, we will usually not work with a carrier that will not give us direct access to the underwriters and decision makers. (Visit the national First Financial Resources website for more information.)
In contrast, agents who have a primary affiliation with only one insurance company are hampered in finding you the very best policy by the very real fact that offering a product from any other carrier sharply reduces the agent's compensation.
One of the founding objectives of First Financial Resources was to eliminate that dilemma. Our overall production from our network of nationwide offices allows us to work directly with most carriers and to be compensated as if they were our “primary” carrier. As a result, we have no financial motivation or bias when we show you a spreadsheet of alternative plans.
